Poland: unemployment down in April 2022

Poland’s unemployment rate fell to 5.2% in April from 5.4% March, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported on May 25. The number of registered unemployed measured 878,000 in April against 902,100 in the previous month, GUS also said. Earlier, the Family and Social Policy Ministry estimated April’s unemployment at 5.3%. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
