Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased by 3.6% YoY in the third quarter of 2022, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) said on November 30.
The figure is slightly higher than the previous flash estimate in which GUS said that in Q3 GDP growth would be at 3.5%.
In Q2, the country’s GDP rose by 5.8%, GUS said.
Investment went up by 2% YoY, private consumption increased by 0.9% and domestic demand rose by 3.1% in the Q3, according to GUS.
Economists polled by PAP expected investments to rise by 4.5% YoY, while private consumption and domestic demand were seen up by 2.4% and 3.1%, respectively. (The First News/Business World Magazine)
