About 58 objects of social sphere and water pipes were commissioned in Andijan region in the first half of 2016 within the investment program.
Enterprises of the region exported goods valued at $83 million. The production of import-replacing products grew. Number of exporters rose by 44 new enterprises. They exported various services and products valued at $67 million.
Industrial production in the region rose by 37.3%, agriculture production – by 7%, construction works – by 20.3%, retail trade turnover – by 14.8%, services – by 16.7%, investments into fixed capital – by 41.3%.
The region implemented 1,280 new projects due to investments of 150.3 billion soums within the program for social-economic development of Andijan region. Some 244 new production enterprises were launched in industrial sphere. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
