Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met on September 10 with several businesses engaged in high-tech rose production in Armenia and discussed export and logistics issues with them.
Deputy Economy Minister Arman Khojoyan also attended the meeting.
The discussion addressed state policy in the greenhouse sector and existing state support mechanisms aimed at promoting and organizing exports. The parties also discussed opportunities for the sector’s further development and increased competitiveness.
Particular attention was paid to the logistical and transportation aspects of exporting greenhouse-grown roses, customs clearance procedures, and other issues concerning the sector.
Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan emphasized the importance of ensuring the sector’s uninterrupted and continuous operation, improving the export competitiveness of Armenian greenhouse-grown roses and strengthening the position of Armenian products in new markets. (Panam)
