Ruslan Oliinyk, Deputy Minister for Restoration, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine, visited the Ivano-Frankivsk region on official business.
During the visit, Ruslan Oliinyk met with Liubomyr Semaniv, Acting Head of the Service for Restoration and Infrastructure Development in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. They discussed the current state of the region’s transport infrastructure, the implementation of road projects, and priority tasks for the near future.
The Deputy Minister personally inspected sites where road surface restoration work is underway. He checked the quality of the work, adherence to technical specifications, and the actual condition of the roads.
Particular attention was paid to key routes that facilitate the region’s transport and logistics connections, specifically the national-level roads H-09 (Mukachevo – Rakhiv – Bohorodchany – Ivano-Frankivsk – Rohatyn – Bibrka – Lviv), H-10 (Stryi – Ivano-Frankivsk – Chernivtsi – Mamalyha), R-24 (Tatariv – Kosiv – Kolomyia – Borshchiv – Kamianets-Podilskyi), and R-38 (Bohorodchany – Huta). These roads are vital for connecting communities, transporting passengers and cargo, and maintaining regional logistics.
A significant volume of work has already been completed on certain sections – ranging from the repair of damaged surfaces to the comprehensive renovation of specific road segments. In particular, work is underway on the state-level road T-09-05 (Deliatyn – Rakivchyk), where an asphalt-concrete surface is being laid, as well as on local public roads in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Nadvirna districts.
At the same time, measures are being taken to improve road safety. Guardrails and road markings are being installed on specific sections of the H-09 road (Mukachevo – Rakhiv – Bohorodchany – Ivano-Frankivsk – Rohatyn – Bibrka – Lviv).
“Our task is to ensure uninterrupted traffic flow, the proper condition of key routes, and quality transport connections between communities. Every project must undergo inspection-from the actual condition of the road surface to the quality of the work performed. The result must be practical: safe, reliable, and durable roads for the people,” noted Ruslan Oliinyk.
Work on the region’s road infrastructure projects will continue with constant monitoring of quality and adherence to established technical requirements. (Infrastructure Ministry)
