The trade turnover between Georgia and Uzbekistan in January totaled $11.1 million, up by 101.8% YoY, the National Statistics Office (Geostat) reported.
In particular, Georgia’s imports from Uzbekistan amounted to $2.6 million, up by 179.6%.
Georgia’s exports to Uzbekistan in January 2022 amounted to $8.5 million, up by 86.8%.
According to Geostat, Uzbekistan ranked 10 among Georgia’s top trading partners by exports over January.
Meanwhile, Georgia’s foreign trade turnover (excluding non-declared trade) in January increased by 41.1% YoY and by 20.4% compared to January 2020 and amounted to $1.1 billion. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
