Twenty Georgian women winemakers are featuring in events promoting Georgian wine in the United Kingdom, with venues in London hosting the showcases.
The Georgian National Wine Agency said on May 25 the promotional programme was running between May 23 and 26, and coinciding with the country’s Independence Day celebrations on May 26.
A “special reception” will be hosted at the Georgia’s United Kingdom Embassy for the celebration, with visitors set to be treated to wines by the female entrepreneurs.
Organised by the British wine master Sarah Abbott, the events are running with support of the Agency, the German Society for International Cooperation and the Georgian Embassy. (Agenda/Business World Magazine)
