The Center Regional Development Agency (ADR) has announced the start of the expropriation procedure, based on the law on the declaration of public utility of national interest for the construction works of Chisinau-Straseni-Calarasi aqueduct.
After the publication of the expropriation act in the Official Journal of the Republic of Moldova (November 16), the expropriator (the state) will submit the expropriation proposal to the landowners within 30 days.
“After receiving the expropriation proposal, the owners and holders of the right of use or other real rights over the objects subject to expropriation are obliged to take measures to preserve them. From the moment of receiving the expropriation proposal, the expropriated person, within 45 days, has the right to give his consent or not for an immediate and fair compensation,” indicates ADR Centru.
Payment of compensation for expropriated real estate and expropriated rights is based on the expropriation proposal through monetary compensation. The amount of compensation is transferred to the rights holders in a special account opened in the name of the expropriated, in national currency, within 60 days from the moment of submitting the request regarding the payment of compensation.
