The gross industrial output decreased by 7.4% YoY in May. Figures to this effect were unveiled by the National Statistics Bureau (BNS) on July 20.
According to the quoted source, the gross industrial output reduced cumulatively by 6.4% since the beginning of this year.
The drop of the production in January-May was triggered by the decrease of the production in the extractive industry by 10.9%, in the processing industry – by 7.9%, as well as in the production and delivery of electric and thermal energy, gas, warm water and conditioned air.
