This March, 64.7 million cubic meters of natural gas were consumed, down by 56.7% YoY. At the same time, compared to February, this indicator decreased by about 31.1%. The figures were presented by Moldovagaz.
In March, compensations totaling 440.8 million lei (22 million euros) were calculated for over 578 thousand household consumers, depending on the energy vulnerability category assigned. Another 7.4 million lei were offered as compensation for over 10 thousand household consumers from tenant associations. In the case of legal entities, the total amount of compensations in March was 20 million lei.
According to the data as of March 31, the payment level for natural gas consumption amounted to 89.1% for the volume supplied, which was 4.82 billion lei.
