The State Administration of Roads (ASD) informed about the completion of the works of repair of the bridge on the M5 road, border with Ukraine-Criva-Balti-Chisinau-Tiraspol-border with Ukraine, km 215.53.
According to ASD, the repaired bridge on the M5 road will ensure the access of transports in safety and comfort, due to the reestablishment of the functional peculiarities through ensuring the carrying capacity and increasing the technical parameters.
Within the project, competent people carried out works of repair of the bridge and renovated three traffic lanes, including metal protection barriers and other elements, which ensure the security and comfort in traffic.
The works of repair of the bridge started in June 2020 and were finished in the term established, according to the schedule of implementation. The investment cost about 17 million lei (850,000 euros) – money fully earmarked from road fund’s means. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
