Moldova has received a consignment of 188,000 doses of GCFLU tetravalent influenza vaccine, sources of the National Health Insurances Company (CNAM) have reported.
According to the National Public Health Agency (ANSP), the vaccines were stocked in conditions of the refrigerating chain at the ANSP’s National Warehouse of Vaccines. The vaccines are to be carried and distributed to the territorial public health centres for the vaccination of the professional contingents and the groups with high risk of falling sick.
Physicians remind that the immunization with anti-flu vaccine is the safest and the most efficient way of preventing falling ill of influenza and avoiding complications and recommend that people from the categories with high risk of falling sick get vaccinated.
Just as in the previous flu season, physicians recommend the concomitant vaccination against flu and the COVID-19 infection. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
