More than 800 Ukrainian citizens were employed in the Republic of Moldova, 50 more than in early September.
According to the National Employment Agency (ANOFM), most people are employed in Chisinau (599), followed by Balti (27), Ungheni (19), Cahul (17), etc.
According to employers’ notifications, citizens of Ukraine take jobs in the following professions: programmer, engineer, seamstress, salesperson, cook, doctor, educator, operator in the production sector, manager in various fields, data entry operator, etc.
Over 150 employers have shown their willingness to employ Ukrainian citizens. They advertised about 2,200 job vacancies.
At the same time, more than 550 Ukrainian citizens registered in the records of territorial subdivisions under ANOFM to receive employment support. The institution offers the following free services to Ukrainian citizens: information on job vacancies, contact details of employers, guidance and employment support.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, currently, over 77 thousand citizens of Ukraine are in Moldova. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
