The National Agency for Energy Regulation (ANRE) has approved the increase in the gas rates.
Thus, from October 1 the gas price will rise from 22.99 lei to 29.26 lei for end consumers.
According to ANRE, when determining the gas price supplied by the license holder, the following parameters were taken into account: the increase in the average annual price of natural gas procurement from $899/1000 cubic meters to $927/1000 cubic meters (+3.1%) and the evolution of the exchange rate of the national currency against the US dollar.
Thus, ANRE approved the following gas prices (without VAT): entry into natural gas transport networks – 24,716 lei/1000 cubic meters; exit from natural gas transport networks – 24,914 lei/1000 cubic meters; exit from high-pressure natural gas distribution networks – 25,175 lei/1000 cubic meters; from medium pressure natural gas distribution networks – 25,493 lei/1000 cubic meters; output from low-pressure natural gas distribution networks – 27 103 lei/1000 cubic meters.
