On March 21-27, the revenues of the Customs Service to the state budget amounted to about 676.9 million lei, with over 23.7% more than the planned amount.
During the reference period, individuals brought to the country goods the customs value of which exceeded the non-taxable limit, and payments were collected amounting to over 12.8 million lei, which represented 1.9% of the total amount collected for that period.
Also, since the beginning of this year, the Customs Service has collected over 6.6 billion lei from the state budget, up by 23.6%. The money collected is paid directly into the state budget and redistributed for salaries, infrastructure development and social projects.
Also, on March 21-27, 10,264 customs declarations were made, and the flow of means of transport constituted 189,447 crossings. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
