Until the end of August, the third phase of the reconstruction of Suusamyr – Talas – Taraz highway will have been completed, the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Kyrgyzstan informed.
According to it, the second layer of asphalt is being laid from 75th to 105th km of the road. The company “Chakyr Yapy Sanayiwe Tizharet” (Turkey) is engaged in construction.
The project is financed by the Islamic Development Bank ($10 million) and the Saudi Development Fund ($10 million), the co-financing of the Kyrgyz government is $2.08 million, thus the total cost of the project is $ 22.08 million.
The warranty period for the liability for defects is until August 2018. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
