A small town will be built for the Pamir Kyrgyz in Chon-Alai district, press service of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Migration reports.
According to it, the head of the ministry, Kudaibergen Bazarbaev, announced it at a meeting with the Pamir Kyrgyz residing in Taldy-Suu village in Alai district.
“The President Sadyr Japarov allocated Burgan-Suu plot in Kashka-Suu rural area of Chon-Alai district and laid a capsule at the construction site of a special town for the resettlement of the ethnic Kyrgyz, who remained in the Pamir. The work continues. This year, 10 million soms have been allocated to Chon-Alai district from the ministry’s budget, and work has been completed on transforming 70 hectares of land, drawing up a master plan for the settlement, engineering and architectural planning,” he said.
Kudaibergen Bazarbaev added that construction works would start in 2022. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
