President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, as part of his working trip to Jalal-Abad region, got acquainted with the progress of construction of an alternative North – South road.
In particular, he examined the progress of the construction of the tunnel through Kok-Art pass.
The Ministry of Transport noted that construction of 2,991 meters of the tunnel, which would become the largest in Kyrgyzstan, had been already completed.
Construction of the tunnel is being carried out simultaneously from two sides: from the southern side and from the north.
The head of state emphasized the importance of high-quality and timely execution of all works on the construction of the tunnel and the strategic road. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
