The Belarusian automaker MAZ has won the tender to deliver 100 buses to Kiev, according to the website of the Belarusian embassy in Ukraine.
The auction to sell buses to Kiev took place on June 9. The first lot was 70 MAZ-203 buses and the second lot was 30 MAZ-215 buses. The auction was called by the Kiev mass transit systems operator Kievpasstrans. MAZtransservis, the official dealer of MAZ passenger vehicles in Ukraine, won both lots of the auction.
The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ has been making passenger vehicles since 1995. The company sells urban buses, intercity buses, tourist coaches, and special buses to dozens of countries across the globe. At present MAZ offers 15 models in more than 100 modifications.
