As of December 31, 2016 the size of the national debt of Kyrgyzstan amounted to $4,105 billion, the Minister of Finance Adylbek Kasymaliev declared.
According to him, the domestic public debt amounted to $322.7 million and the external – $3,782.74 billion.
“The size of the external debt to GDP amounted to 57.2%. By law, the amount of external debt is limited to 60% of GDP, we do not exceed it”, Kasymaliev said.
