Yerevan Municipality on September 7 launched the process of constructing three key road junctions in the capital. Aneta Babayan, director of the Yerevan Development Investment Programs Implementation Office, reported this to Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a Municipality meeting.
According to her, construction is expected to begin shortly on an overpass in the Noragavit section of the North-South interstate highway, the Isakov-Arshakunyats road junction, as well as the unfinished section connecting Babajanyan Street and the Ashtarak highway.
“We are ready to begin the actual construction work this very week,” she said.
Babayan also stressed that some funding for the projects had been provided within the Yerevan municipal budget.
Relevant studies are currently being conducted at the sites. (Panam)
