Belarus and Russia’s Yaroslavl region have agreed to advance relations in manufacturing cooperation, road construction and pharmaceutics, the press service of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia reported.
A Belarusian delegation led by Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk visited Yaroslavl region on October 20. The delegation included representatives of government agencies, industrial enterprises and their distributors in Russia. The enterprises included BelAZ, BelavtoMAZ, MTZ, Minsk Motor Plant, Amkodor, Gomselmash, Mogilevliftmash, etc.
An expanded-participation session of the working group in charge of advancing cooperation between Belarus and Yaroslavl region took place as part of the visit. The participants reached an agreement on further advancing relations in manufacturing cooperation, road construction, and pharmaceutics.
The Belarusian delegation also took part in the congress and exhibition event meant to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Russian engine construction industry. The event was timed to Yaroslavl region Industry Day. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
