The net profit of OAO SvetlogorskKhimvolokno (Svetlogorsk Chemical Fiber Plant) totaled Br22,000 in H1 2016, which makes an equivalent of $11,418, up by 10% YoY, according to the quarterly report released by the Finance Ministry’s Securities Department.
SvetlogorskKhimvolokno’s revenues reached Br106.58 million in H1 2016 ($55.314 million), up by 18.5% YoY.
The company’s only shareholder is the Belarusian government, which owns 6.916 million shares with a face value of Br10 ($5.19).
Founded in 1964, SvetlogorskKhimvolokno is one of the largest companies of the Belarusian petrochemical industry. The company produces polyester textile threads and artificial fiber. 70% of the output is exported to more than 40 countries. SvetlogorskKhimvolokno became a member of EDANA in September 2012.
