The net profit of one of Russia’s largest agricultural holdings, Rusagro, fell to 19.96 billion rubles in 2025 from 41.2 billion rubles a year earlier, according to a company statement. The company’s annual revenue rose to 396.5 billion rubles from 340.1 billion rubles in 2024. Rusagro’s adjusted EBITDA increased by 11% to 56 billion rubles. The profitability of the adjusted EBITDA for the 12 months of 2025 was 14.1%. Capital expenditures on the acquisition of fixed assets and intangible assets, according to the consolidated financial statements, increased by 5.9 billion rubles to 35.5 billion rubles. The net profit in 2024, excluding the effect of the revaluation of the Agro-Belogorie group, amounted to 32 billion rubles. The company attributed the decline in net profit mainly to an increase in the cost of preferential loans received under existing agricultural support programs, as well as negative exchange rate differences due to the strengthening of the ruble (formed on currency liquidity and the revaluation of receivables) (The Moscow Times).
