A cogeneration gas-engine power plant provided by the Finnish company Kuopion Energia Oy has arrived in Lviv region from the Ministry of Energy’s emergency energy assistance hubs. The plant is designed to meet the needs of one of the region’s critical infrastructure facilities.
The delivered cogeneration plant has a total cost of 20 thousand euros. The equipment with a capacity of 1.56 MW and a thermal capacity of 1.5 MW will allow for reliable backup power supply to critical infrastructure facilities even in the event of power outages.
The plant will allow for simultaneous generation of electricity and heat, reducing the load on the power system and increasing the reliability of providing vital services to residents of Lviv region.
