In 2025, laptop sales in Russia fell by 15–30%. In total, about 2.9 million devices were sold for 169–183 billion rubles over the year. This follows from the data of electronics manufacturer Fplus and the “M. Video” network, which cites “Vedomosti”. At the same time, according to the statistics of the company “Platform OFD”, the average check for laptops amounted to 58,105 rubles, which is 8% lower than the level of the previous year.
The decline in sales in this segment is explained by the fact that Russians primarily direct funds “to priority needs”, says a representative of “Sitilink”, Kirill Ageev. Against this backdrop, the laptop market in the country has entered the phase of “rational consumption”, noted in “M. Video”. In particular, buyers approach the choice of devices with caution, focusing not on maximum specifications or minimum price, but on usage scenarios – work, study, and everyday tasks.
