Floresti city will enter the new year with a new wastewater treatment plant that will provide access to the treatment service for about 4,300 households and 118 economic agents.
The works for the construction and installation of the new sewage treatment plant in Floresti were carried out as part of a regional development project implemented by the Regional Development Agency (ADR) North from the sources of the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL).
ADR North director Maria Prisacari emphasized the importance of this vital project for Floresti and the localities in the vicinity.
The wastewater treatment plant in Floresti consists of five modern bioreactors, with a total flow of 1,500 cubic meters/day.
The total value of the project is 32.9 million lei (1.65 million euros), of which 29.7 million lei – allocated from FNDRL. The local contribution represents 3.5 million lei. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
