The works of repair of the road on the R21 Orhei-Bravicea national road (km 13-18) was finished and a reception commission found out that the works were conforming, the State Administration of Roads (ASD) reported on December 26.
The works were carried out within the project provided for the rehabilitation of 4.85 km of road with a total area of the roadway of about 47,000 square metres of asphalt-concrete.
“At the same time, the project included the arrangement of the system of rain waters’ evacuation, which comprised the setting of 4 small tubular bridges, the consolidation of 3.5 km of concrete drains and the setting of 770 metres of street drain. Over 1,400 metres of sidewalk, 19 lateral roads, 40 accesses to yards, 2 standing platforms and more than 650 metres of metallic parapet were set, in order to ensure the safety and comfort of the residents from the Morozeni village, central Orhei district,” ASD said.
Also, to enhance the level of safety for the participants in the traffic, road signs and over 2,700 square metres of road marking were set.
The R21 Orhei-Bravicea national road, km 13-18, has two lanes with the width of the roadway of seven metres. It was rehabilitated with financial means allocated from the Road Fund, worth about 59 million lei (2.95 million euros). (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
