The Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus is holding talks with the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) to settle issues over supplies of champignons, the ministry reported.
“Director of the Main State Inspectorate for Seed Production, Quarantine and Plant Protection of the Agriculture and Food Ministry Alexander Piskun is in Moscow to fix the issue with champignon supplies. The parties are to schedule the visit of Rosselkhoznadzor’s inspectors to Belarusian companies producing champignons,” the ministry informed.
Rosselkhoznadzor announced temporary restrictions on the import of champignons from Belarus starting from July 24. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
