In 2017 the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ exported about 96% of its output, according to the BelAZ website.
In 2017 Belarus’ export rose by 84.8% from 2016. Russia remained the main market, with the sales growth rate at 173.2%. The top three buyers in physical terms also included Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The growth rate of sales to the CIS states (without Russia) was close to 230%. The Belarusian company managed to restore pre-crisis sales figures in Ukraine and set a new record in Kazakhstan.
The growth rate of sales to non-CIS states reached 182.5% in comparison with 2016. The company reported major sales in Zimbabwe, Morocco, Angola, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
On the whole, BelAZ trucks were sold to 47 countries in 2017. The top ten partners in terms of their shares in BelAZ’s foreign trade were Russia, the UK, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the UAE, Ukraine, Zimbabwe, the USA, Morocco, and Germany. These countries accounted for 93.2% of BelAZ’s export and import.

BelAZ is the world’s top manufacturer of haul trucks with a large carrying capacity and an extremely large carrying capacity as well as other heavy transport equipment used in the mining industry and the civil engineering industry.
