In Q1-3 2016 the volume of private transfers of funds from Kyrgyzstan to Russia amounted to $133 million, according to the Central Bank of the Russian Federation.
In January-September 2016 CIS countries transferred $1 billion 72 million to Russia, down by $38.9 million YoY.
In 2015 the volume of private transfers to Russia from CIS countries, on the contrary, increased by 1.9%, to $2257 million.
Azerbaijan transferred $53 million to Russia (-51.8%), Armenia – $43 million (-63.6%), Belarus – $43 million (-14%), Kazakhstan – $431 million (-41.3%), Kyrgyzstan – $133 million (-1.5%), Moldova – $45 million (-23.7%), Tajikistan – $70 million (-41.7%), Turkmenistan – $18 million (-41.9%), Uzbekistan – $141 million (-50.9%), and Ukraine – $96 million (-13.5%).
In January-November 2016 the volume of money transfers from Russia to Kyrgyzstan amounted to $1834.74 million soms. This is almost half of the public debt of the country. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
