Five haul trucks made by the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ are now used in the gold-mining quarry Kazreti, Georgia.
The haul trucks BelAZ-7555V are used in the gold-mining quarry of the company GMP Cooper. It is an open pit. The projected depth of the quarry is 250 meters. Mining operations are now performed at a depth of 170 meters. BelAZ vehicles work well at altitudes of 1,000-1,200 meters above the sea level. The haul trucks are used in two 12-hour shifts 24/7 except for maintenance downtime. The Belarusian company intends to ship another batch of mining vehicles in early 2017.
