The Belarusian-French interregional business forum takes place in Minsk on November 30 – December 1, according to the official website of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The event marks the 40th anniversary of establishing twinning relations between Minsk and Lyon. The business forum has been organized following the agreements reached at the second meeting of the joint Belarusian-French commission on economic cooperation in Paris on May 26.
Partaking in the forum are nearly 50 French businessmen seeking cooperation with Belarus in industry, agriculture, energy, tourism and other areas. The business forum provides Belarusian companies with an opportunity to present their proposals on stepping up trade and investment cooperation and hold bilateral meetings with potential business partners from France.
The program of the forum also includes a number of cultural, education and gastronomic events.
The event has been organized by the Belarusian embassy in France and the Minsk City Hall. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
