Ride-hailing platform Bolt has introduced a new airport transfer service at Kosice Airport, including Slovakia’s first self-service booking kiosk at an airport.
The kiosk, located in the arrivals hall, allows passengers to book and pay for a ride without using a mobile app, internet connection or a charged phone. Users can enter their destination, select a vehicle category and pay by card.
As part of the partnership, Kosice Airport has also created 16 dedicated Bolt pick-up bays outside the terminal. The service offers three vehicle categories, including standard, premium and larger vehicles for groups or passengers travelling with extra luggage.
Airport spokesperson Juraj Toth said the new service is designed primarily for foreign visitors and travellers who do not have access to mobile data or the Bolt app.
The launch comes as Kosice Airport is seeing rising passenger numbers and expanding its network of scheduled flights. (The Slovak Spectator)
