Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Evgeny Shestakov met with Uruguay’s Deputy Minister of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries Enzo Benech and Executive Director of Uruguay XXI Antonio Carambula to discuss possible supplies of agricultural equipment for small and medium-sized Uruguayan farms, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
“The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the bilateral trade and economic cooperation, implementation of joint projects, improvement of the legal framework, and strengthening of collaboration in the exchange of visits of business delegations. The sides also considered possible supplies of Belarusian agricultural equipment for small and medium-sized Uruguayan farms”, the press service said.
Evgeny Shestakov also met with representatives of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Mining of Uruguay. The parties exchanged views on ways to step up business and investment cooperation in machine-building industry. The Belarusian diplomat presented Belarus’ industrial potential and highlighted the most promising cooperation areas. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
