The division of the State Fiscal Service fighting capital outflow via transfer pricing should be expanded and reinforced, Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk has said.
“This is one of the spheres where the State Fiscal Service should work more. Instead of developing this sphere they reduced the transfer pricing division. I want the division expanded and strong specialists selected”, he said.
He said that his position differed from the position of the fiscal service chief in the issue.
The minister said that the task of the fiscal service in transfer pricing was to provide for taxation of profit in Ukraine.
He said that the country intended to introduce Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) standards. This would help to involve external studies in the sphere of transfer pricing.
“It would be easier for us to analyze financial reports, for example, metal companies or farmers”, Danyliuk said. (Interfax/Business World Magazine)
