Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia conducted the joint “Clear Sky 2016” International command-staff exercise.
Central Asian military pilots are currently carrying out joint exercises to repel missile strikes over the region.
The main purpose of this exercise is to achieve interoperability between the staff that are interested in obtaining military assistance and assistance to other states.
MiG-31 log-range interceptors, Su-27, MiG-27, MiG-29, Il-76 heavy transport planes, as well as anti-aircraft missile systems and radio equipment were used in these training exercises. (Russian Aviation/Business World Magazine)
