Procurement of construction works and services in Belarus will be exercised by the means of contract tendering starting on January 1, 2017, in accordance with President Lukashenko’s ordinance No. 380 dated October 20.
Contract tendering will be a mandatory procedure if the cost of construction services is equal to or exceeds 6,000 basic units (Br126,000 or $66,236). One basic unit stands at Br21 ($11.4). The requirement applies to contracts to building dwelling houses or other objects fully or partially financed at the expense of the state budget. (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
