Belarus raised export duties on oil and oil products, exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union, on October 1. The relevant decision was stipulated by the Council of Ministers’ executive order No. 773 of September 27, the press service of the Belarus government reported.
The export duty on crude oil goes up from $80 to $91.9 per ton. The duty on straight-run gasoline is raised from $56.8 per ton to $65.2 per ton, with the export duty on commercial gasoline up from $48.8 to $56 per ton.
The export duty on light and medium distillates makes $36.7 per ton, up from $32. The same rate is applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.
The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 September. The export duties were reduced on that day. (BelTA/Business World Magazine)
