In January-August Murmansk Sea Fishing Port handled 202,300 tons of cargo, down by 20.6% YoY, according to the stevedoring company’s statistics.
In the reported period, the company handled 119,900 tons of fish products (down by 18.2% YoY).
In August, the company handled 28,100 tons of cargo (down by 12.5%) including 15,700 tons of fish products (down by 8.7% YoY).
Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quayside is 2,765 m long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.
