A committee for the organization of the 2017 Belarusian Industrial Forum, that will take place in Minsk on May 23-26, 2017, has been set up in Belarus in line with the executive order No.388p signed by the Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov, the press service of the Belarusian government reported.
The committee will be chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Vladimir Semashko. It will include representatives of the Belarusian Industry Ministry, Energy Ministry, Economy Ministry, Transport and Communications Ministry, Architecture and Construction Ministry, Housing and Utilities Ministry, Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade Ministry, Education Ministry, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Ministry, State Science and Technology Committee, State Committee for Standardization, regional executive committees and Minsk City Hall, Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, research institutions and large industrial enterprises.
Since its establishment, the Belarusian Industrial Forum has become a large-scale annual international event. It has hosted businessmen from more than 30 countries. The forum aims to help Belarusian companies and organizations to increase the output of hi-tech competitive products and sell them domestically and internationally, embrace new knowledge-intensive technologies, strengthen international cooperation, and attract investments.
