The Global Cold Chain Alliance (GCCA) is prepared to help Azerbaijan expand the potential of agribusiness and make Azerbaijani agricultural products reach domestic and foreign markets, GCCA Vice President of International Programs Richard Tracy said.
Tracy said he was impressed by some enterprises in Azerbaijan, adding that they fully met international standards, however, some businesses needed support in bringing their work to international standards.
He went on to add that the GCCA representatives had already visited a number of enterprises operating in Azerbaijan. The quality of some companies is very good and the alliance can help them become even better and expand their business, he added.
GCCA vice president also touched upon the possibility of Azerbaijani agricultural products’ export to other countries.
Azerbaijan produces some of the most delicious products in the world, Tracy noted. The country has an advantage in the export of domestically produced pomegranates, he said, adding that their quality is good, and so is their cost. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
