First auctions within the framework of the new state property privatization program in Azerbaijan will be held on September 14 and September 20, the country’s State Property Issues Committee said.
“The main innovation is that potential investors, representatives of the press and the public will be able to watch the auction live”, said the message.
At the first stage, the state committee announced auctions for the privatization of 138 units of public property. Of them 50 units are a 30% share of the equity portfolio of the companies operating in various sectors of the economy, 62 units are non-residential areas, small equipment and facilities, while 26 units are vehicles.
Currently, the state committee conducts preparatory work to announce new investment competitions. (Trend/Business World Magazine)
