OAO Belsolod malt producer is due to hold an open tender on September 1, to choose a supplier of brewer’s barley in the amount of 15,000 tons worth Br5.4 million ($2.748 million).
Both domestic and foreign suppliers are invited to make offers. The closing date for applications is September 1, at 9:30 local time.
In 2016 Belsolod stopped procuring brewer’s barley on government contracts. The company needs 170,000 tons of brewer’s barley a year. Belsolod was established in 1989 and transformed into a joint stock company in 1996. The government holds a 99.2% stake in the statutory capital. (Prime-TASS/Business World Magazine)
