Volume of investments in Kyrgyzstan has grown since the beginning of the year, the National Statistical Committee reported.
The volume of investment in fixed assets in January-July amounted to more than 47 billion soms, up by 4.1% YoY. Investments funded from internal sources increased by 11.7%. External sources, on the contrary, decreased by 20.4%.
Most investments are directed to the construction of facilities on the extraction of minerals, providing electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, transport activities, education and housing. About 420,000 square meters of individual houses have been put into operation. (24.kg/Business World Magazine)
