Annual planned maintenance works were started at the automobile plant of GM Uzbekistan in Asaka city (Andijan region) on August 8, the press service of the company said.
GM Uzbekistan underlined that the company would carry out maintenance of main and additional technological equipment, tools, facilities and engineering-communication networks.
It is also planned to carry out works to prepare the plant to autumn-winter period. The company did not state duration of the maintenance works at the Asaka plant.
GM Uzbekistan stated that it would fully and in time execute all agreement obligations on supply of cars. The enterprise said that the schedule on supply of automobiles to distributor and dealer organizations in internal and external markets would not be impacted with maintenance works.
The company said that supply of automobile continued in planned mode, including supply of R2 and Nexia R3 in line with the agreed terms and volumes.
GM Uzbekistan stated that the plant of the company in Khorezm region worked in usual mode. The plant was launched in 2013 and maintenance works at the plant would not require shutdown of production lines. (UzDaily/Business World Magazine)
