Federal State Statistic Service has changed its estimate of oilseeds acreage for the 2016/2017 crop. Correction was made for all oil crops to a greater or lesser degree. In this regard, production estimates were also revised. Some analysts give bold projections and work with close to record productivity, while others are more modest in their estimates, taking into account all existing risks.
Federal State Statistic Service announced soybean planted area at 2185 thousand ha. Rapeseed planted area was also revised downwards. The acreage was cut by 37 thousand ha. Sunflower acreage estimate was changed the most. The planted area increased by 547 thousand ha. (UkrAgroConsult/Business World Magazine)
