Minsk will play host to the meat industry forum on October 27-28. Such information is posted on the website of Belarus’ Agriculture and Food Ministry.
Experts will discuss topical issues of the industry and the ways to improve the quality of meat products and expand exports.
The forum, which will be held on the initiative and under the patronage of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, will bring together more than 200 specialists from 10 countries. Among the participants there will be managers, marketing experts and export promotion specialists from practically all the meat packing plants and farms of Belarus, representatives of the government bodies, academic institutions, reputable foreign organizations and companies, diplomatic missions. The central item on the agenda of the forum will be the export potential of Belarusian meat industry and the ways to improve its efficiency. Industrial engineers and representatives of the Belarusian and Russian science will discuss ways to improve the quality of meat raw materials and finished products.
