The Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA) has announced that the first call for applications for grants offered by the Agriculture Governance, Growth and Resilience Investment Project (AGGRI) has been opened. The maximum amount of a grant reaches $1 million, provided that the amount does not exceed 50% of the value of the eligible investment. The applications must be submitted to the territorial offices of the Intervention and Payments in Agriculture Agency until May 17.
“The AGGRI project encourages the construction or modernization of livestock holdings, equipping them with state-of-the-art technologies, as well as the purchase of breeding animals. In addition, funds are made available for the energy efficiency of holdings, including for the implementation of technologies such as biogas stations and photovoltaic panels”, MAIA said.
To benefit from financial resources, producers must meet certain conditions. (Moldpres/Business World Magazine)
