Poland’s core inflation, excluding food and energy prices, measured 6.9% YoY in December 2023, down from 7.3% recorded in November 2023, Poland’s central bank (NBP) announced in a statement.
On a monthly basis, the central bank also said that Poland’s core inflation edged up to 0.3%, up from the flat result 0.0% recorded in November 2023.
According to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS), Poland’s Consumer Prices Index (CPI) in December 2023 settled at 6.2%, slightly above the early estimate of 6.1%. (PAP/Business World Magazine)
